Barcode Mill can be run on your own server to produce unlimited numbers of barcodes to your own specification for your own use.
The basic requirement necessary is for your web server to be able to run Perl 5 scripts. Virtually any Operating System running any Web Server (Apache, IIS, etc) can be configured to run Perl 5 scripts. Only a basic Perl installation is required. Barcode Mill needs no special libraries or modules. You will need the permissions necessary to be able to install your own Perl scripts on your Web Server. For full details see the Technical Index Pages.
Barcode Mill is supported by email and if necessary by telephone. We cannot help with the underlying Perl 5 installation on your server. If you are unsure about your Perl installation you should consider a Managed Barcode Mill Server or a Barcode Mill Slice Account.
Here is a summary: You may use Barcode Mill for any purpose in connection with your business or other activities provided you do not use Barcode Mill to provide an open public service which may compete with the Barcode Mill Web Site. There is no limitation on the number of barcodes you produce nor any time period expiry on the software.
